3000 cycles SIBs sodium ion prismatic cell for swapping station
Main Feature of CSiT Sodium-ion batteries:
● High safety. The electrode material's excellent thermal stability is a key factor, ensuring that the battery remains safe even when subjected to harsh tests like overcharging, over-discharging, short-circuiting, or physical puncture. Furthermore, the thermal runaway temperature of sodium-ion batteries is notably higher than that of lithium batteries, adding an extra layer of safety
● Great high discharge rate working performance. The electrode materials of sodium-ion batteries possess excellent electrical conductivity and ion transport properties, enabling sodium ions to move rapidly between the electrodes during charging and discharging, thereby supporting high-current charging and discharging.
● Wider discharge temperature range. Sodium-ion batteries exhibit a broad operating temperature range, with excellent temperature characteristics allowing them to function normally in extreme environments ranging from -40°C to 80°C, while maintaining a high capacity retention rate. Even at low temperatures, such as -40°C, sodium-ion batteries retain 75% of their capacity.
● Environmental. The negative electrode of sodium-ion batteries can use aluminum foil as the current collector, which is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than copper foil. Compared with other types of batteries, sodium-ion batteries have less negative impact on the environment during production, use and scrapping.
