Why use lithium battery to replace lead acid?
● Lighter Volume and Weight: Lithium batteries are much smaller in both volume and weight compared to lead-acid batteries. The volume of a lithium battery is typically 1/3 that of a lead-acid battery, which not only reduces the overall weight of the device but also saves space.
● Longer Lifespan: The cycle life of lithium batteries is significantly longer than that of lead-acid batteries. The cycle life of ordinary lead-acid batteries is approximately 300-600 times, while that of lithium iron phosphate batteries can reach up to 4000 cycles. This means that lithium batteries have a longer service life, reducing the frequency and cost of battery replacement.
● Higher Charge-Discharge Efficiency: The charge-discharge efficiency of lithium batteries can exceed 97%, while that of lead-acid batteries is only about 80%. This means that lithium batteries have less energy loss during charging and discharging, especially in applications where frequent charging and discharging are required, lithium batteries perform even better.
● Higher Energy Density: The energy density of lithium batteries is generally 200-260Wh/g, while that of lead-acid batteries is only 50-70Wh/g. This means that lithium batteries can store and release more electrical energy in the same volume or weight.
